Platte Valley Retrievers is your source for premium gundogs and quality gundog training. Our entire program focuses on quality over quantity. We only take on a limited number of dogs for training to ensure each one gets the attention it needs to reach it maximum potential. Our breeding program is very selective with only 1 out of every 3 prospective breeding dogs making the cut. All of our breeding animals are health tested and hunt tested with the minimum requirement of Hunting Retriever Champion level to be accepted into our breeding program. And because we raise puppies to be to be members of the family as well as working dogs all of our dogs are treated as such. They are kept in the house or hang out with me in the office. When they are not training, competing or raising babies they are fostered out to friends and family to stay in their homes and hunt with them during season.
